Nel Marzo 1879 una pubblica sottoscrizione diede modo alla città di Novara di ricordare i suoi caduti durante la Battaglia di Novara del 23 Marzo 1849 tramite la costruzione di un sacrario.

The Ossuary pyramid is located in the south-east of the city along the Corso XXII Marzo 1849, was designed by Luigi Broggi in Milan, inside the remains are preserved regardless of the fallen Austro Piedmontese army and -Hungarian Empire.

in 1910 are placed inside the bronze effigies of General Carlo Alberto and Perrone and Passalacqua.

Each anniversary of the Battle of the shrine is open to the public for the occasion Pyramid is adorned with the tricolor and manned by two guards in full uniform, taking part in the ceremony, the delegations of foreign armies, flags and banners of war fighters of various associations.

Small groups of riflemen of the different nations involved in these tragic events are lined up on either side of the pyramid for the whole period of celebration paid homage to all the fallen.

To close the ceremony, a mass and the laying of a wreath.

The 0ssario reminded citizens of Novara and Italy that the defeat were killed on the battlefield, many soldiers and as many soldiers Piedmont Austrians.

Rievocazione Storica Battaglia del Ponte di Arcole (VR) 13-14 Novembre 2010

Saturday 13 and Sunday, November 14 will be held at the Arcola Napoleonic Reenactment of the Battle of the Bridge of Arcola.

The event is organized by the City of Arcola (Verona) and dall'Armèe d'Italie.

The commemoration will consist of the conquest of the Bridge and the rejection of the Austrian troops to the main square of Arcola. The events take place in only two days are the culmination of a series of historical events ; culture to celebrate the bicentenary of Napoleon's Obelisk Arcole 1810-2010.

La battaglia del Ponte di Arcole venne combattuta dal 15 al 17 novembre 1796  durante la Campagna d'Italia guidata da Napoleone Bonaparte. In questo scontro parteciparono circa 

20000 soldati francesi e 17000 austriaci comandati da  Joseph Alvinczy von Berberek. I francesi uscirono dallo scontro vittoriosi, le perdite registrate furono :

- 4600 killed and wounded on the French side.

- 6000 killed and wounded by Austrian.

The Historical Group Risorgimentale Novara 1849 March 23 starts at 'Battle of the Association of Friends of the Park which was established in Novara on 17 June 1994.

the historical group faithfully recreates every detail: uniforms, weapons, equipment and tactical maneuvers carried out by troops during the battles of the Risorgimento.

The seriousness and commitment demonstrated in the historical reconstruction, making the Group 23 March 1849 a veritable living museum.

The Group is composed of line infantry, riflemen, artillery and cavalry.

The group's mission is to improve understanding of historical events through the spectacular part of the reenactment deprecating any form of celebration of war .

Sabato 9 o ttobre 2010 alle ore 18,00 nella sede dell'Archivio di Stato, sarà inaugurata la mostra dal titolo "FATTI E MISFATTI NELLA NOVARA DI INIZIO'800" a cura dell'Archivio di Stato e del Centro Culturale MIR, con accompagnamento musicaledel duo flauto e pianoforte Granziera-Platinetti.

La mostra rimarrà aperta dal 9 al 20 ottobre 2010 con il seguente orario: dal lunedì al sabato dalle ore 9,00 alle ore 13,00 e lunedì e mercoledìpomeriggio dalle ore 15,30 alle ore 17,30.

Nella mostra vengono sviluppate alcune tematiche relative al periodo Napoleon (1800-1814) and on the political, social and administrative time.

L' Inno di Mameli

Il 12 Ottobre 1946 viene provvisoriamente adottato l'Inno di Mameli come inno nazionale della Repubblica Italiana.  Nell'autunno del  1847 ,  Goffredo Mameli  scrisse il testo de  Il Canto degli Italiani . Dopo aver scartato l'idea di adattarlo a musiche già esistenti, il 10 November sent him to the master Michele Novaro , who wrote the music for jet, so the song could make his debut on December 10 of that year.

On June 2, 2010 was established in Mirandola (Modena) a group of Historical Re-enactment Risorgimento Garibaldi column called "Francesco Montanari" in honor of Captain Mirandolese crashed May 13, 1860 during the Battle Calatafimi.
